It is hot and humid out there today! I had way too many layers on – I really need to be better about checking the weather! It appears that storms are heading our way tonight, so at least I can prepare for that 🙂
Panera!
I had lunch with Bobby and his mom at Panera 🙂 I wasn’t feeling in the mood for hot soup (wonder why!) so I got the large Greek salad with a whole grain baguette (they’re back in stock!).
Unfortunately when I sat down I realized that my camera was out of batteries. Not wanting to be without pictures, I’m providing you with a repeat from Wednesday – just imagine it twice as big with a whole grain baguette beside it 😉
Early Birthday!
Bobby’s mom gave me an early birthday present! My birthday is not for a couple of weeks, but since she’s here she wanted to give it to me in person. I got a nice shirt and black pants from Ann Taylor to wear at my job this summer – whatever that job may be!
Work + Snack
Work went well today – the grads got their show together quickly and we didn’t need to re-tape anything (they tend to stop mid-show to redo something if they don’t like it because it isn’t live, so it can take FOREVER for them to finish sometimes). Now I’m just waiting for the call from my dad! I wanted a small snack when I got home but wasn’t craving anything sweet or carby, so I went with a microwaved poached egg white with fat-free cheddar cheese and some salsa:
I’m going to attempt to do some work before my dad calls. I’m usually not very productive on a Friday afternoon, but I’ll see what I can do.

I love Anne Taylor, glad to know I’m not the only one! Also, I really need to try out poached eggs, but they intimidate me!
