Sleepy, sunny, Saturday.

by Jenn (eating bender) on April 26, 2008

I woke up early this morning to grab some breakfast with my dad before he headed to the airport. We went to Walker Bros. (ok, I know it seems like I go there a lot, but these past two weeks are the first times I’ve gone since January – crazy that it’s all happening at once!) and got their delicious oatmeal with scrambled egg whites.

It was so good to see him but again, the homesickness returns :(

After we said goodbye, I came back and tried to do some reading but ended up falling back asleep! I woke up again around 11:00 – it was nice to get a few extra hours! So what if I have a midterm to study for? 😉

I spent the rest of the morning working out and going to the grocery store. When I came back I snacked on a juicy red pear with a spoonful of PB.

Oh how I love when pears are ripe! I also love getting a little bit of PB with each slice!

After my snack I went to see Bobby and his parents at Bobby’s ping pong club tournament. He started the club with another guy at NU and now they host tournaments with other schools in the Midwest. I’m proud to say Bobby won all his matches today and the team itself will probably tie for first  I pretty much stink at ping pong…but some of the players are SO talented!!

Back to the books! I hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday :)

Awe, sorry your dad had to leave, that’s no fun!

Congratulate Bobby for me!

Mmm. I love juicy pears. They’re much better than crunchy ones!

I can understand the homesickness completely – hang in there!! At least you guys had a lot of fun while you were together :0)

I’ve never had pears with nut-butter… looks delish!

Oh goodness, I am THE worst ping-pong player – I can never keep that little ball on the table, haha. So fun that Bobby can play it so well!

Good luck with studying – and enjoy your Saturday!
