Late start.

I pushed the snooze button for an extra 1/2 hour this morning – but it didn’t help! I think it actually makes me even more tired because I’m not really getting much extra sleep šŸ‘æ

I finally got out of bed and ate 1/2 of a Clif Chocolate Brownie ZBar before heading to the gym – 45 minutes of cardio on the elliptical. I wanted to do more but didn’t have the time – late starts make me a bit grumpy because I don’t fit everything in šŸ˜³

BREAKFAST

Breakfast cheered me right back up – I made an oatmeal pancake with a whipped banana and maple syrup topping which turned out just right!

Bobby came over and I made him one too – he liked it but unfortunately he has too much of a sweet tooth for the banana topping alone! I made him a second one with extra brown sugar, chocolate chips and maple syrup which went over better – geez! šŸ˜‰

I also had Coffee Cocoa – I decided to just up the cocoa and take out the Cool Whip. Still tasted great!

LUNCH

I made the best. sandwich. ever. today – PB + strawberry jam + banana on Arnold Natural Flax & Fiber bread. I will be making this again and again! The jam with the banana was so good – why didn’t I think of it sooner?! šŸ™‚

On the side I had a serving of Kashi Original 7 Grain crackers:

  2. That does sound heavenly! And I find of all the Arnold’s breads I’ve tried they’ve been rather tastey!
