Pizza! Pizza!

Until tonight, I had yet to ever make a homemade, whole wheat, healthy pizza. After tonight’s meal, the only question I have is:

“Why, oh WHY did you wait SO long?!”

The cheesy overload is Bobby’s half of the pizza  We started out with a Whole Foods 365 Organic Whole Wheat pizza crust, adding pizza sauce, canned tomatoes, and spinach.

Then we added mushrooms, sliced ham, and mozzarella and feta cheese!

We baked the pizza in the oven at 400* for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese looked completely melted and the crust started to brown. Slice it up, and serve! Here’s my 1/4 portion:

A closer look at the delicious veggies:

I ended up going back for the second part of my half because 1) I was hungry! 2) It was darn good! and 3) It’s healthy, right?!

Here’s 1/4 of Bobby’s plate (he didn’t want to be left out, haha):

It was delicious and super filling! The good news is, we got two of these pizza crusts in one package, so there will definitely be more pizza making in our future! Sort of like this guy:

Pizza! Pizza!

A great way to end the weekend! I hope everyone has been having a relaxing Sunday!

Sweet dreams 🙂

  1. This is kind of a crazy coincidence…I just started up a food blog of my own, and my design looks extremely similar to yours. I don’t think I’ve ever been to your site before today, so I promise this is a complete coincidence! I hope you don’t mind…my blog name involves blueberries, so I’m pretty attached to my blueberry header.

Regardless, your blog is great, and I’m sure I’ll be back. That pizza looks incredible!

I don’t mind at all! Best of luck to you on your blog. You should include a link!

  3. Oh my gosh… I am seriously seeing pizza left right and center. I think it’s a sign telling me that I need to make myself a pizza in the very near future. I haven’t done that in a while and yours looks too darn amazing for me to resist much longer.
