People Named Jenn Like to Wear Beanies

After seeing Jenny’s post earlier tonight, I got super excited…

…because I received the same package in the mail this morning! I know, I look stunning at 10:30 am. Don’t even kid yourself 😉 Hey, I was excited, alright?!

The only difference was that I got a lil’ greedy and asked for samples to compare them to the Chobani 🙂 Thanks to Sarah with Stonyfield Farm for the loot!

Today was my busy class day – 11:00 am to 5:00 pm with no break – so I had to grab and go as far as food was concerned. Although I can’t complain too much because it gives me the opportunity to rave about Panera and the You Pick Two.

Seriously, whoever invented this concept was a genius. You get a little bit of everything and it’s the “just right” amount of food. Tonight, I got the black bean soup…

Chandelier Coffee? How about Roommate Soup? 😉 That’s K in the murky reflection!

After laughing about the soup, I also had a small Greek salad – romaine, tomatoes, kalamata olives, red onions, pepperoncini, feta and chicken.

And finally, the You Pick Two is rounded out with some of Panera’s fabulous bread. I chose a whole grain baguette tonight. It was a little scrawny, but still good!

The combinations are endless. I pretty much lived off of Panera last spring during finals. It’s the best tasting “fast food” option around, in my humble opinion.

There may or may not be some changes coming to eating bender in the coming days. Don’t worry, it’s good news! I’m going to leave you in suspense for now, broadcast journalism style 😉 All I will say is that you will know it when you see it!

  3. Holy wonderful yogurt score! I’m seeing Stonyfield Farm products more and more frequently in the grocery stores lately. In Canada! Do you believe it? C’est tres excitant! Definitely no Oikos yet though.

  12. oh, I miss Panera! Especially the summer selections (strawberry poppyseed salad!!!) it seems like they are so inconsistent with the bread—sometimes it’s like the size of my head and other times its so tiny!

    I also love black bean soup from panera – doesn’t get any better. I have a friend at school who’s friend’s dad invented panera. So my friend’s friend had all of these free-for-life passes she gave to her friends (say that three times fast). Can you imagine?

    I’m dying to know the changes!
