Where I’ve Been: DreamChamps Land

I apologize for the brief hiatus from posting, but I promise you, my news today was worth the wait! In fact, I can barely contain my excitement: the full DreamChamps site is officially live!

Is there a better way to celebrate a site launch than with a peppermint mocha in a red Starbucks cup?

I’m thinking no. ๐Ÿ˜‰

If you’ve been following our journey from the beginning, you know that this day has been in the works for quite some time. I am so glad to be able to share this milestone with you.

Here are just a few of the pages you may want to peruse on the new site:

In addition, I am thrilled to announce our first-ever DreamChamps offline events! This December and January, we’ll be conducting a four-week workshop in Chicago that is dedicated to helping people understand — and begin to find — job happiness. For all of those details, you can visit our brand new Events page: http://dreamchamps.com/events.

I’m very excited to hear your feedback! Chat us up on Facebook, Twitter or via email.

Thank you for your continued support of DreamChamps and, more broadly, me and Eating Bender. This launch would not be possible without all of you and the constant smiles you bring to my face!

Additionally, ifย  you know of anyone who might benefit from our site and/or services, I encourage you to tell them to subscribe here. Last but certainly not least, if you know of a company who you feel embodies our values, nominate them by clicking here.

Altogether now: Life is too short to do work you hate!

Back to regular posting soon, but I can’t wait to hear what you think!

Abrazos,

  1. This is awesome! i’m 5 years out of college and still trying to figure out what i want to do when i grow up. I’ve worked for the same company, but a month ago I left a job I was extremely unhappy at. I only did it for just over a year, but I can barely even think about it without getting knots in my stomache remembering how unhappy I was. Everyone told me “you’re not suppose to like your job.” so I kept with it, trying to find things I liked about it. But the only thing I liked was leaving. I counted down the days til the weekend and went into full on depression on Sundays. I’m happy to say that I am lucky enough to have stayed with the same company, but was able to find a new job. A month in, I am infinitely time happier. It’s not my dream job, but the envirionment is much more positive and I feel like there is opporutnity to grow and achieve and not just be set up to fail, like I did before.
Your site is blocked for me at work, but I will be sure to check it out later! So inspirational!

  2. Hooray for DreamChamps (and peppermint mochas :))! The site looks AWESOME. Well done! I enjoyed the videos – particularly the Vodori guy who wants to work next to “people that bathe and keep their beards groomed.” haha
